Statewide DUI enforcement hitting the streets this St. Patrick’s Day weekend

TUCSON – This St. Patrick’s Day weekend, police officers all over the state will be looking for drivers driving under the influence of alcohol.

DUI saturation patrols will be held by the local and state police officers starting from Friday evening and ending on Monday night.

Individuals are advised to hire a designated driver or get a cab if they plan to celebrate the weekend.

From Monday night through Tuesday morning, AAA is also offering it’s free “Tipsy Tow” service.

A person can call 1-800-AAA-HELP (1-800-222-4357) between 6 p.m. March 17 and 6 a.m. March 18 and tell that he/she needs a “Tipsy Tow” service.

You just have to give the driver’s name, home address, phone number and vehicle/driver location.
